getting knock at part throttle?

Default getting knock at part throttle?

i hooked up my diablo and took the car down the road.i have a part throttle hesitation and the diablo is showing im getting 12-19% of knock.my timing is going from 40 to 0 when it shows the knock. does anyone have a clue what this could be? i always run 93 0ctane.thanks,joe

could be a bad knock sensor

how would you check a knock sensor?

They are under the intake and are knowned to have water get in there and they go bad

ill get some new plugs and seafoam the car next week. maybe i dont have to replace the knock sensor.

i just put tr55,s and seafoamed it yesterday.of course i still have the same problem.how hard is it to get the knock sensor out?

its easy just pop the fuel rails out of the intake manifold, unbolt the manifold and they are right under there. oh yea gotta disconnect the throttle cables and take the intake parts off.

I noticed that I got knock where I shouldn't while recording with HPT. Because of this, I decided to change the knock sensors when I did a LS6 intake swap.

Here is a pic of what they looked like when I took them out. I would suggest getting the knock sensor harness as well and replace it at the same time. I couldn't get the harness clips off the old knock sensors without breaking clips.

wheres the cheapest place to get the sensors?im assuming theres two right?advance has them for like $45 each.
