Car Dilema...Sell WS6&Buy 03 Cobra

The Cobra price is certainly fair for a basically 'new' car. Throw out the price guide books on that one. I would NOT trade your low mileage WS6 for it but of course it is your decision and what you want the most. I think you would miss your car after a few months but maybe f-body ownership isn't in your blood. I have driven many Mustangs over the years and like them very much but not enough to have in my garage, but if I was to have one it would be an '03-'04 Cobra so your inclination for one is quite understandable. I would never get rid of my T/A. Been a Formula/Trans Am owner for 13 years now. If it was gone from my garage I would miss it bad. It is a unique ride as we all know. Good luck! It would be really nice to own both if you can swing it somehow.

Gonna look at the svt this sunday, i just got a lot more pics of it and it looks damn clean i must say. I have a picture of the undercarriage that doesnt make sense to me. there seem to be these two black pieces near the read end, almost like some sort of control arms or braces of some kind and I have no clue what they are....

That undercarriage is amazing.
Another good thing about the Cobra is the exhaust sound. I have 3 (yes 3) that live in my apartment complex and they just sound unreal when they get on it. A one of a kind sound for sure.

For a car like that you can never go to kelly blue book. I personally just go on autotrader and see what a good price is. And I drove my buddies cobra and fell in love with it, I cant wait until I can afford one. Like I said before I would defiantly go for the cobra. And this is coming from somebody with a LS1 too.

Go for the cobra man, with a blower and a forged bottom end you can't go wrong! If I could afford an 03 cobra and sell my bird I would in a heart beat. Nothing like the exhaust note and supercharger whine on them either! Thats my next car if I ever sell my TA.

Cobras are badass cars. Test drive it to see if you like it. If you do then great go ahead and get it. It's going to be a woulda coulda shoulda decision either way IMO. You keep the WS6 and see a yellow cobra on the street. You're going to want that car bad. You decide to go ahead with getting the cobra and see the front end of a black WS6 in your rear view mirror as you cruise in it. You race the guy and get pulled on badly with the first thought in your mind saying, "Man I should have kept my WS6!!!!!" It's the truth and goodluck with your decision bro

All are valid points. I always complained about the seating position in my car, and how the 2 mile long dashboard and the 6 mile long hood provide **** visibility even tho im 6 foot even.
I love the looks of the ws6, nothing else looks like it. Period. If i do let her go, the most thing ill miss is the attention this car gets and the countless hours i spent with it detailing it with my porter cable and waxing her 4 times a week(atleast)
We will see how things are.

like mentioned before the only mustang i would own is the '03 to '04 cobra. my car is in the same condition as yours (except im 18 and am about to pay mine off) so i understand your predicament. But if i had the ability to sell my car to get the cobra i would do it.only problem is that cobra is **** yellow.

Good decision I think. I am in the same boat right now. I can sell my WS6 to get a C6 Z06 in the near future but would regret getting rid of a pristine WS6 to go after a supercar. I would be going back after another WS6 if I sold it but 6-7 years down the road am I going to be able to find one in the same condition for under $15k then. No way in hell since Pontiac is going under and I think the value of these cars is going to go up for the unmodded flawless ones on the market IMHO. Not saying that they are going to worth serious money anytime soon but will pay an extra premium for a car that is already mine basicly.
