If you're going to pay what M1 charges per quart these days you might as well step up to Ams or German Castrol. Mobil 1 went to a group 3 synthetic and honestly I would say that Penzoil Platinum is a better oil for the money.

hey guys, i wanted to ask you how long do u guys let the oil sit in your car? i know some people change religiously every 3, 4, 5k miles.. but what bout the guys that rarely ever drive there cars. just wondering whats the longest u would keep the same oil in your car?

same here. i've yet to try GC or amsoil, but i prefer Penzoil Plat over M1, castrol syntec, valvoline syn, Q horsepower etc.
