Are you serious? You wait that late to brake in traffic that you risk rear ending people

Stock brakes are fine for street duty and normal driving, but they suck ***** on the road course/auto-x.

Turn up the radio. Who want to hear a chick talk anyhow.

or

Finger-Bang her so she can't hear over her own moaning.

*Steel fenders* That way they are easier / cheaper to fix over replacing.

my thoughts exactly. but i gave up on the thread and don't feel like staring any crap on the boards. my intent was to see what people have had to fix / upgrade that was due to poor design / execution on GM's part. IE running the power for the pass. window through the drivers switch.

I don't think saying you've done full Koni adjustables, 12 bolt, lockers, etc counts as 'something GM should've done'. Unless you want to pay a $45,000 sticker.

spot on.. if all that stuff was done factory..

A. the aftermarket would be slim to non-existing..
B. the price would be in excess of 50k... and today would still be 20k for a cheaper model...

people dont think things through sometimes (most of the time) before posting..

i think they should have put steel motors or whatever it is in the head lights.. i hate it when the plastic ones get stripped...

Yeah I've heard those like to strip out. But I've also heard that metal gears, or full metal gear boxes, are available. Now THAT would've made sense to have from the factory.

Love the subrames and 12 bolt. But drag radials?

I could just see someone buying a car with Mickey Thompsons on them and driving it home from the dealership. It starts to pour rain while they are on the highway. They spin out of control, cause a 10 car pileup and create a multi million dollar lawsuit against GM.

Who would then turn around and file bankruptcy

Uh no dumbass, that means the C5 brakes on a camaro work so well that after driving with them for a while you get used to a short stopping distance/less pedal effort.
Then you get in a camaro with stock brakes and you can notice the increased stopping distance/more pedal effort.
