I would think a car vacuum with be alright, don't quote me on that though, wait for someone else to respond. I would just get new gaskets for it and suck all the **** out of it with the vacuum.

I am just wondering if anyone has used some sort of de greaser that breaks it loose. Nothing is loose enough to vacuum, its just a crust everywhere.

i used some intake manifold cleaner that i got at the parts store and it worked fair then i soaked it down with simple green and that helped a little.
i would try to find some one with a parts washer i think that would get all the crap and old crusty oil out of the intake ports because what i used dident.

A can of degreaser and water hose. It's plastic - don't worry about it. Squirt the **** out of it (literally!! ) - inside and out; rinse well. Of course, take the injectors and throttle body off, first.
