Default what would you do?

It looks like I may be coming into a little money, around 50k. I am going to get a new
Sports car. Either a rx8, newer year trans am firehawk, or new camaro. I am leaning towardss
The 8 or t/a because I can get them for cheaper and have money left over for mods and toyys
(New guns). And I would love to have Ttops again. But I can get a hell of a deal on a 8 and
They are great cars (just not the power of a t/a) so what would you do and why?.

Spend no more than half on a C5 cam and longtubes. Let the rest work for you in a high yield acct.

I'd get a T/A. The rx8 is slow.
How about a Cobra? Just a thought.

Firehawk. Seriously, for not much money you could have a really nice canyon carver with about 430hp at the motor with just full bolt ons. Also a bonus to have a collector's car as well.

Koni's, Strano Springs, Strano Bars, Pan Hard Bar, P&P TB, Long Tubes/ y-pipe, a tune and you'd be golden.

Ok, I'll be honest... you're coming into $50K and you're looking into an RX8? You must be kidding. If it was me I might just skip past the F-bodies and build up a vette, but like others said, can't go wrong with a Firehawk

I'd buy a candy bar and give the rest to me so I can finish my car. I'll let you ride shot gun though.

To be serious, if you already own a home.... I would buy a cheap Fbody and do it up how you want. But as hard as it is and trust me it's hard to resist....Figure out exactly what you want and get it. Don't buy a Camaro or TA and then sell it or buy a bunch of parts your not going to use because you change your mind and want something else. If your smart about it, you can go on this site in the classified section and find something with the mods you want and save a ton of that cash for some thing else. Maybe a down payment for a new fifth gen. Or to help me finsih my project.

Thanks for all the posts. I will probably go with the firehawk (I love the hood) if I can find a good price on one.
I used to own a 8 and loved every minute of it. But it did have around 15k in mods so it was just as fast as a t/a.
And boy could it handle. But I miss the raw throw your head through the rear glass power of a V8 and the looks of
An f-body. Thanks for all your help guys. Did anyone see the new design for the possible 2011 t/a?

I would get a cheap F-body and take the rest and buy a house. House will go up in value over time, 10 years or so. But that's me you do what you want.
