Default Getting car out of storage soon. What do i need to do?

Like it says i am getting back from deployment soon, and my car has been sitting since late January. I disconnected the battery topped off the gas tank a put Sta-Bil in. Its been covered and i have moth ***** all over it. What types of general maintenence should i do? I will do an oil and filter change make sure the air filter is good. What else should be done or looked at? Thanks

This January? You shouldn't have an issue.

I agree. That isn't too long at all. Your gas should be fine with Sta-bil and even your oil isn't an issue if you put in fresh oil in January. Just drive slow for the first few miles and let everything get warmed up, then you are in business.

First of all I wish to thank you for serving our country. I also wish to thank EVERY man and woman that has served or IS serving our country in order to keep our butts safe over here.
Now I would like to know if you put the mothballs inside the car. If so what did you do to get rid of the mothball smell? Thanks again for serving our country and have a safe return home.

Thanks for all the replys and apprecitation. I was wanting to get some input, because i think about that car all the time and my worst fear is it not starting back up or running well. As for the Mothballs thing, i will see about getting the grandma smell out. For the interior i used the Lavender scented ones so hopefully it will smell like a bath and body works. Under the hood is regular moth *****. Thanks for all the replies.

That short of a time period I'd think your only real worry would be with the tires being (temporarily) flat spotted.
