If you track it and don't put $$$ to upgrade the weak points yes. Mine is mostly a street racer and I don't beat on it much so it has been really dependable so far....but the rear is getting noisy and the tranny soft. New valvesprings are around the corner too......

without a doubt the most important thing is deciding what you want to do with the car, straight lines or curves. I thought I wanted curves, and built the car around that. Then I saw the light and replaced my Koni/strano setup with no front bar, big rear bar, and strange shocks, my lord the difference! Car finally feels right!

But as far as actual mods first things first ditch the 10 bolt.

I have a buddy that has 4.11's on his cutlass and claims to be doing 125mph in fourth gear (redline) After watching that vid of the T/A with 4.10's it doesnt look like it could hit that speed, atleast in fourth anyways?

Unless you find a full set with tires locally for $450 in mint condition then turn around and sell the stockers for $225.

I had bolt ons for my car at home before the car arrived! These things I thought were important at the time -sfc's, lid, stb, lca's, phb- all made a noticable difference!!! I felt the power from factory was very good, but the handlig in comparo was downright dangerous, the car seemed to be all motor. Later mods are all susp and in retrospect, made the most difference to how the car drove/felt. If you need more power, bolt ons are nice but I find one gets used to the gain quickly. M ore mods, opening the motor, gears etc are the next step, i guess. I just found that for my taste- I love power, torque etc., the vehicles' personality and balance were improved/modernized sooo much more after (quality) handling mods were made compared to the modest bolt ons I did.

SFC's and Longtubes with full exhaust. A chambered muffler is key (to me) with the LTs its plenty loud and still sounds sweet with no slop.
