Default Parent's forcing me into another Camaro? Wtf?

Yeah, so after the year it took to convince them to let me buy one, newer mind you, an 01, and they said "it's your problem", it worked perfect, and aside from that bitch hitting me, was an excellent car.

Now, I was looking to get a Colorado, but my parents are almost refusing to sign me a loan for a Colorado, and want to to buy a White Z28 30th Anniversary Edition 1997... with an LT1 for 8 grand with like 100k on the clock.

I'm not to sure about it, I don't know **** about LT1's because I spent most of my time learning and working on LS1's. I'd really (if at all), like to get an LS based vehicle...

Dammit.

Tell them if they'd like to pay for it, you'll get whatever the hell they want. They may co-sign, but it's your car and your money. Don't pay $8,000 for a damn LT1 with 100,000. There's too many good deals here on LS1tech. Hell, buy mine.

Slap moms silly if you got to.

Was the car you had get totaled? If it was take the money you got from the ins. company and get whatever you want. If you can get the LT1 and not have any payments on it I would get that. Save the money you would spend on payments and either mod the LT1 or save money towards a LS1 or 6.0L engine to go in it for an engine swap. Think about it spend money for an engine or mods you want or the money goes to a truck that will stay moderately stock.

How old are you? I know I wouldn't mind an LT1 Camaro while still living at home although I wouldn't pay 8k. Usually if you need a co signer you are buying a vehicle you can't afford.

Holy **** would that be a bad choice. I wouldn't give more than $2000 for that car. But, I wouldn't give that because there's no way I would own an LT1 again.

But I had a LS1 before. I paid 8k for it, as well.

Haha. I was hoping someone would say that. I wasn't too happy with the idea of getting an LT1.

It's worth the drive somewhere to get a good deal on something you want. If you don't really want an LT1 car and you settle, you'll be reminded of that every time you get in the car...

that's about double to three times what I could stand to pay for that car...or more...actually **** it...drop a zero and that's the deal it would take for me to own and drive a lt1 z28

ugly as sin , less power, less reliability all for the price of a ls1 car

makes a ton of sense

I don't care if it's for a dollar, I'm not going that far.

I realize that may be one of the only ways to get a good deal, but oh well, I really cannot go that far.

Also have to deal with inspection, which is a reason for my parents not co financing me.

Just wait man. DO NOT get an LT1 for that much. You'll be screwing yourself in the *** if you buy it.

Seriously look on here and autotrader. I bought my Formula and it was 500 miles away. Paid someone to deliver it to me and it was totally worth it. Screw settling for a car, especially a sports car.
