looking at getting a 97 with 110k miles on it 6 speed, good overall condition what is a fair price and what is too much?
I hear of people getting C5s now for 8-9k I have yet to see this anywhere. I know the they are dropping but not in the single digits yet.
how much is too much?

No they didn't have alot of problems. The biggest problem was the key lockout. I would say 11k is reasonable. I paid 18k for my FRC with 77k on it 2 years ago

What exactly "good overall condition" means. In my experience, don't buy a car with even minor mechanical problems, since they tend to hide bigger ones.
Keep in mind price is going to depend a good bit on where you live; availability, weather conditions, how much money people in that area tend to have, etc. etc.
I'd say for that particular car 9-11k would be reasonable depending on condition.
