I hope it drives as good as it looks. I'm going to see it this weekend.
The guy has been real straight up and sent me pics of every little scratch on it. There really isn't anything I can't fix in a short amount of time with a buffer, some compound and a little touch up paint.

Engine is completely stock. It has an SLP loudmouth exhaust.

Hopefully I'll be coming home with her.

Why would you want to trade a cobra for a weak reared, piston slapping, plastic encrusted, engine under the windshield, window motor failed, caveman suspensioned, early 90s inspired, mullet mobile.

Oops.

I love my car but for some reason I want a cobra! I think when I finally pay it off and cam it I won't think souch about it. That'll be a while

I haved owned 5 mustangs, and just bought my first ls1 00ws6
and I think the 03,04 Cobra interior is actually nicer love the swade incerts
Exterior wise I favor my TA
exhaust wise love the way cobra sounds with 0/r x pipe
but bang for buck you can get a pretty nice ls1 for like 13,000
puts some nice mods on it and be out 16,000 and be right their with the cobra or better
or spend 22,000 for the cobra

Honestly if it were me I would stick with the cobra. Get rid of the IRS though. With a small boost set up you can make 900-1k hp down. A KBB is a nice start. You can get a long way with just that change.

To me, that's a benefit.

What cracks me up is that CERTAIN magazine bitch and bitch about Mustangs with the live rear axle setup. Yet I see a TON of Cobras that have a IRS want to trade GT owners for their LRA setup.

There is a reason why the IRS isn't used much when it comes to drag racing.

I love my LRA.

What's beneficial about having to turn the lights on and off manually or having your music cut off the instant you stop the engine?

I'm with you, whats the benefit..curious
also being a cobra owner I can still say that hands down IMO the trans am ws6 is more of a bad *** looking car. The average person cant tell the difference between a v6 stang and a cobra(prob not looking too hard) but a trans am ws6 is meannn.

The IRS factory is pretty tough, but its also tough to get a good launch which is why most owners swap them out for a SRA. You can build up the IRS to be strong and get just as good of a launch with the IRS, but it would cost just as much as a SRA swap would, so most owners just do the live swap rather then building on the IRS.

Had a friends Cobra for a while when he went off on vacation. Also own a 99 T/a. Honestly, the Cobra is better in a lot of aspects that matter to me atleast =/ but i would NEVER get rid of my T/a.

Pros to a Cobra:
Supercharged pull= i love the feel of forced induction ; D
modifications common, that motor loves it when you mess with it
solid feeling interior, I've had nothing but pain peel, window motors fail and dash cracks with my T/a since I've had it.

Cons to the Cobra
Appearance= mustangs may be cool looking but not many cars can pull off the wickedness of a T/a
daily driving, The Ta can ride smooth and can be taken to the limit quickly, as well as decent mpg (solid 15-17 mpg all city driving)

3 for 3 that i can think of, but man...that interior didn't squeak or rattle for the 2 weeks i had it =/

I personally I think 03/04 Cobra's are bad *** and I think they look really mean. However I do agree with the fact that the average person couldn't tell the difference between a Cobra and a V6.

I had a black 2000 ss t-top 6 speed car then I went to a 2003 sonic blue cobra now I'm back with a white 2000 ss hardtop 6 speed car...

Both the f bodies and the cobras have there own advantages it's just personal preference but don't get me wrong I will buy another terminator...

Went from black to white and plan on blue to red...torch red
