I just sold my 03 Cobra supercharged and just purchased a 98 Z28 m6. I am a GM guy from head to toe but it is what it is. You have to put a few thousand in the camaro just to keep up with the stang. My cobra was stock except I had a smaller blower pulley and exhaust and the camaro I currently have is no comparison. I just finished rebuilding the motor in the camaro with a new cam, heads, loudmouth, ram air, shifter and 410 gear all should be done in a couple days. I guess we can give it a comparison then. But out of the box Cobra wins in my opinion.

I just prefer the SRA. That's why I like the Mach1s better. You can always put a blower on it

The one thing that sucks about the cobra's is that you have a cable line for the clutch and the f-body's use hydraulics. +1 for fbody's using hydraulics on the clutch.

i would love a cobra, manley forged rods, forged crank and arp head bolts. a twin setup can put them at close to 800whp on the stock bottom end. i think they look really good esp. sonic blue. and they sound nasty. never been in one but i wouldnt mess with one until im cammed cause they are very underrated. i still like the Z alot and prob wont ever be trading it for a cobra. i just like mustangs, put a procharger kit on my bros 1996 gt before i had my license but you cant argue with ls1 all motor power

Heck I like both! I have a 99 TA with a few mods and a year ago I bought an '04 Whippled Cobra to take to Europe with me since my TA with the TH400 would not be a good car to take there. I love both cars for different reasons though! I love the Cobra because it has brutal top end speed and handles really well for stock suspension with the IRS. However my LS1 TA is more of a brute force off of the line! It still moves out good from roll but no down shifting with the th-400 and its top speed is 135 mph or so. The Cobra is my DD that I enjoy and the TA sits here the states and I joyride her while I am visiting!

I've always loved the look of the TA/WS6. I never liked the body style of the 03/04 mustang. So for me it would be a no brainer. I would sell the Cobra and buy a WS6. Then I would get heads, cam, fast 92 and spray

I had a '01 WS6 that I traded towards a '03 Cobra vert. Then I traded to vert for a '03 coupe. Sold the coupe & bought a '05 CTS-V. Needed a 4-door. Really miss all of the low-mid range pull of the Cobra.
