I purchased an 03 when it first came out. Hated it. Everything about the car was not up to my standards. Loved the blower sound and that was it. Sold it 3 months later and kept my WS6. I really don't see why you would keep the 03.

The only thing thats stopping me from getting rid of the car is the fact that im about 500 to the wheels. If i was going to get rid of the car it would be for a low mile trans am ws6 m6 with heads and a cam or at least 440 rwhp.
The thing i dont like about the cobra is no t tops, lame interior, IRS

And the 1000 lbs pressure plate clutch, and your hand hitting the radio when you shift and the seat bolster hitting your groin when you get in the car and and and..............lol They do sound good at WOT. I found my stock WS6 was just as fast as the 03 in the 1/4 mile.

It had a 396 with spray when I had the Cobra. It pulled both front tires in first and second on the track. Was fun! I think this is the 5th motor in the TA. Crazy I know...............

I think the Cobra interior is actually nicer. Exterior wise I favor my TA. I pulled half car or so on the only 03/04 I raced but I have no idea what mods it had. He wouldn't stop....

Stock for stock I would take a Cobra. The 8.8' rear is a lot stronger too.....

Damn I can't believe I just said this.......

Stock for stock i hear its a drivers race, many have problems launching the cobra because of the pos IRS. Hands down tho i think the Trans am is a very aggressive looking car. Its just the cobra is so mod friendly

There's a few people, but I can't think of their SN's. Some guy on here had a black 03 Cobra then went to a WS6 then a red '01 SS and now he was a built GT Mustang.

The 03/04 cobra is great because you can go faster a lot cheaper, but I think the LS1 fbodies are better cars.

The SS Camaros, and Camaros with the sport appearance package, and Firebird Formulas look better than 03/04 Cobra's, and the TransAms look just about as good IMO.

The cobra has almost no luxuries. The lights are 100% manual (and pull/push style!), and the radio doesn't stay on when you turn the car off.

The fit and finish is also much better on fbodies.

Stock vs stock my 03 cobra was only 1/10 faster than the 01 Z28 I used to have.

The cobra does handle a hell of a lot better.

The benefit of the cobra is how easy it is to add power.

I've since added a pulley and tune (total = $600) and It's a full second quicker than my old 01 Z28.

I'm finally done paying the cobra off, and I want to put her away.

I'm going to pick up an 02 Z28 with 44K on her this weekend to use as my daily driver.

I love my cobra, but I've always missed my Z28.

I can't want for this weekend.

I used to want an 03/04 Termi when I had my old 98 and then 01 T/A simply because of the power and how easy it was. Now, I would never trade my car for one, although they do look pretty wicked.
