Default What Do You Think Of My Garage? Suggestions?

Took me a few months but I finally finished my garage. Painted, desk fabbed, Cabinets installed, majority or tools bought. I don't have any friends that are gear heads like me, so when my guy friends come over and I ask them what they think they just go, "oh yeah, pretty cool man". So do you guys have any suggestions about anything else I can do, or maybe can change? Tools that I can buy that you see missing? Thanks guys, any constructive comments are welcome!

I like to hang out in the garage and sketch...

Dry Erase Board is fun for friends and family to doodle and write messages on.

if i had the time, i'd scrub up the floor, paint it grey, then paint in yellow parking lines for you car. with the floor painted, spilled oil can just be mopped up

yea, a heavy work bench and a much bigger air compressor, it would take you 20 min to take off the tires with that thing and you sure cant use a air ratchet, lol. looks good otherwise.

Awesome garage!!!

I think it would be cool if you painted checkers below the red line across the garage like the checkered flag.

To do so you take a chalk line snap it across the wall, trace in pencial and the do it vertical after horizontal in 1 foot sections and paint in the black through out leaving the whites. I have seen it in a garage before and helped do it. I thought it looked cool.

Very Nice Garage though. Very Cool!!!

Amazing. Pretty good sized garage.

Id get more car posters in there. Parts are kind of cool but it seems like you added a womans touch trying to decorate the garage.

Also, get a painted floor done. Itll look WAY better than the concrete and add a finished look plus itll make it was easier to clean up crap.

I agree that you will run into issues using the air tools. Since you already have the small air compressor, why not buy another one and rig up some plumbing to hook the two up in parallel when you need more airflow? That should be adequate and much less expensive than buying a larger unit. You could probably even find an old pressure tank somewhere (hot water heater maybe?) to use as an accumulator to smooth the compressor on/off transition. A ghetto compressor rig would make your garage much cooler

I also agree that an epoxy floor coating would be a huge improvement.

Perhaps a project car in pieces? No garage is complete without one of those...

I do need a bigger air compressor. Sadly the most my air tools will ever be used is to rotate my tires.

It does have a woman's touch, my wife's Civic Si shares the garage with my T/A. My wife likes the girl posters too thankfully

And to everyone else, I love all the ideas, Thanks Guys!
