I'll second SilverGhost (thepowderpro.com). It's a great one stop shop. Get it ported then either polished or powder coated all at once.

His reputation is next to none.

lol. let me know what happens the first time you drop a wrench or a corrosive fluid on that paint by accident

Yes, I offer full porting and of course also powder coating services as well

Here is a gallery on my site of various throttle bodies done by myself

Whatever you do go with someone reputable...I thought i did, but just found out my ported T/B was giving me idle issues. Took out too much material around the blade and knife edged it. Of course i had it powdercoated too so that was $140 (total) down the drain! If only i would have waited and let Sean do it Sean- how much to coat my new T/B? and can i use the linkage and spring off my old one? Cuz you already did that

So it was the blade? Like I told you when you called the other week, that was my guess, b/c I remembered noticing yours was knife edged when I took it apart to coat it.

I'm totally screwing myself out of some work by saying this(lol), but just take the blade from the new one you got and swap it into the ported one. As long as the old throttle shaft isn't tampered with and holds the new blade ok, you're fine. if you need to change the shaft also, you could just send me that so I can re-coat the cam gear. Give me a call if ya need anything.

I already tried that Didnt run it that way but i held the it up toward the light and i could still see light all the way around the blade. To me it just looks like he took out too much material. Was the about same with both blades in. Couldnt see hardly anything on the untouched T/B

Unless Jantzer has cleaned up his act I'd stay away from him...do a search and you'll find multiple threads

Here's one
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...rformance.html

I had my throttle body done by "photz6" on eBay, he did a great job and his prices are really good. His listings are pretty interesting too, kind of hard to miss them with the way he advertises.
