Default Ls6

So my friend is saying he has a LS6 with LS7 heads would this lower the compression? also would it be any good for the motor or is it a bottle neck?

Unless that LS6 has been sleeved and rocks a big bore they won't fit.

Yep won't fit, unless had serious work done to the block. I think the bore would have to be 4.125 on the block just to get the heads to work. I might be a little off ont he bore.

ls7 heads are great heads and wouldnt be a bottleneck......if they would work on an ls6, which they dont. he had better have a big bore and resleeved block. if your friend is telling you he HAS them, hes bullshitting most likely.

You friend is a Fail.

LS7 Heads need the LS7 Intake..which is very easily distinguishable when you see it..and they need a minimum of a 4.100" Bore.
