In the phoenix heat, keep them on in the summer time. usually will take them off at night though. and during the 'not summer' season (yes, we have 2 seasons..summer.. and not summer) they're off. i tend to take the tops off alot anyways during the not summer season so.

If I were back home in Houston, TX I would probably use them. In Indiana, I have only had my t-tops off once. That was to fit the shades and put the little velcro stickies on. Since then (12 years), the shades reside in the attic along with all the other useless crud that I can't get rid of b/c I might need them sometime.
Wasn't a selection for "I have them but I never use them" so I didn't vote.

When my car was a daily driver for 1 1/2 years, I put them in during the winter to help keep the cold out a little bit. Without them you could feel the cold from the frost off the glass. It was a bit weird putting them in at first. Got used to having them in then summer came and the interior seemed a lot brighter with the shades out but tops on. Hasn't been a DD for 4 years now, so I haven't had them in since. Even when I did though, I just slid them in there. There is no velcro attached to my t-tops. The little dots are still on the shades with the backing still on them.

i dont even know how to put them on without them getting sandwiched between the top and weather stripping
ive been sliding them on top of the headliner edges, then sliding the t top on so the handle doesnt bump them out of their position.

Never came with shades.....hell, might as well not have come with the tops either....I have mine out constantly, sometimes even when it's raining, or the dead of a winter snowstorm. Any time of year, basically.
I've thought about how it might be nice to have the shades at some point.....but I also have a 9c1 and a 3500 dually ram for those days.
Actually, the looks you get from people during a blizzard when they realize you're tops down in a convertible of some sort is pretty hilarious. I started doing that when the drivers door handle broke - could only get in via the Dukes method so I just left my windows and tops down all winter.
I LOVE being able to take the roof off....I keep forgetting to put it back on before I go to bed and wake up with my interior full of rain though!

why not? i moved back from AZ to indiana and i still drive my car 90% of the time with the t-tops off, then again i don't drive it in winter and i don't drive it in rain if i can avoid it (ie i don't take it out of the garage if its raining or looks like rain)

Not to change the subject, but I prefer discussing girls taking their tops off... just sayin'!!!
Mine did not come with shades, so I will probably tint them when I get around to redoing my window tint. Need to wait until I replace a sloooooooow power window motor first.
