If you haven't noticed that's kind of the point of this thread, to profess our love of the Firebird's body styling, haha. Hell, I almost bought a NBM 02 V6 bird just because of how good it looked.
You coming in here and taking a dump all over the thread is just like a bible thumper going to Oktoberfest and screaming that alcohol is bad. It's just futile.

My vote for best looking f-bod has to be a 72 formula bird, otherwise a 4th gen is a 4th gen to me

The 98+ WS6 T/A probably gets my no 2 vote but i just prefer the sleeker lines of the LT1 WS6.

on the Camaro side i think the best looking Camaro was never made. Chevy should have done a 96-97 RS/SS with the SS hood/spoiler and RS body kit and of course the SS powerplant.
i didnt read this whole post, but im aggreing with blackta, i dig on the LT1 WS6's. when the LS1s came out, i didnt like all the wholes in the front end and the huge hood. i like the sleeker look of the LT1. matter fact, its one swap ive considered doing, changing out my front end.

All LS1 Trans Ams came with the base-model hood from the factory. It was ASC that stuck your ram air hood on during the WS6 Conversion.

I like the base-model hood because most people don't & because it makes the car look sleeker.

I'm with you guys. Looks better with the sleek beak, but on another note I think any F-Body looks good as long as it's taken care of.

I love my WS6, but you have to admit that it is the only car on the market that is the closest resemblance to a bat mobile (especially in black).

The LS1 WS6 hood and T/A spoiler are the only two things "I" don't like about the styling. The partition on the WS6 hood that separates it from the car (giving it that four nostril appearance) ruin the clean lines. I would have preferred the Firehawk hood as the standard. The lack of the partition gives that snarling nostril look while still maintaining the clean lines.

As far as the spoiler goes, it is too large and gaudy for my taste.

To me, the WS6 hood and spoiler are what gives the car its character, and unique look. If I want clean, flowing, yet muscular lines obviously I'd get a Camaro. The WS6 is "ugly" and nasty looking, but that's why I like it...

Yahtzee, That I can completely agree with as I'll agree with anyone that it is over the top and ugly/nasty looking, but I love it regardless. Because of it's over the top nature and I think in 20 years people will pay good money for one with low miles and that is well kept. Kinda reminds me of the split window corvette. People hated it then, but now it's such a stand out from that generation. I think the same may be the case with the T/A.
