i appreciate your guys' replies.
I know its not the most attractive thing to look at and it might look redneck-ish... but im NOT paying 1800 dollars to rent a uhaul truck AND pay for its gas when i can spend 4 or 500 for a trailer rental.
After seeing those pictures of f-bodies hauling boats i feel pretty damn confident about this idea haha! i dont care about the miles i put on the car, i built the damn thing from scratch once, ill do it again.. its just a machine.
thanks everyone!

That one is Scream n' Fly. He used to do this all the time. The biggest thing is a TRANNY COOLER if your car is an auto. IF you don't have a good tranny cooler and you try this, it's gonna be more expensive than renting a truck.

All the people crying over putting a hitch on your T/A probably still live with thier parents and have never had to do anything for themselves...
Its fine, do it. Im a U-Haul GM and ive put hitches on vettes/F-Bodies ferraris, and countless other sports cars
A. It will not hurt your car
B. You can take it off...
C. as the above poster already said, if your car is an auto make sure you put a tranny cooler on it, and keep it out of overdrive on your trip and you will be fine.

lol i don't recommend towing something so heavy like i did. eats up the clutch like nothing and the car dosent have enough brakes. lol i no loner use the car for towing unless its for jet skis.

I have a Hidden Hitch on my car. I have used it to trailer motorcycles mostly and usually only 1 at a time. I never have any problems other than towing on the interstate in overdrive. I think it actually helps the rigidity of the car and gives it another jacking point on the rear of the car. It’s also very hard to see and allows taking a small trailer to the track for autocross or drag racing.
That was with a pretty stock setup. I’m not sure how my current setup would work for towing but I’m pretty sure I could still tow a bike on a trailer though I’d probably not use overdrive (6th gear in with a T56) though it might be okay now that I have 4.10’s in the rear.
BTW: It’s understandable that if you have to move and got a truck you’d still have to move the car so a trailer saves you a lot.
