Putting a hitch on my TA?
so here i am so desperate to move that ive pondered the idea of putting a hitch on the TA so i can trailer a 10 footer across the country.
Does anyone have any experience doing this? whats the largest trailer i can get away with towing? id like to take a 16 footer. ill be traveling from Chicago to Sacramento then to Phoenix.
So if anyone knows where to get a hitch, where to attach it to my car, and if you think it will make it.. please chime in! thanks guys! your knowledge is always appreciated.

the info is in the car's owner manual
the car was designed to be usable for towing, so it won't be hard. go to the store, get the right hitch, load her up.
I don't recall details, but we can do 2000 pounds max towing on level ground, 1500 pounds otherwise (your limit since it sounds like you'll be going over the Sierras and Rockies).

Jesus Christ on a roller coaster! NO!!! Please no. Get a truck or rent one. Blow a trucker and have him tow it lol anything just don't ruin a TA with a hitch.

i drove from mid tx to san diego over the course of two days in my Z. over all it wasnt bad, but i would never want to do it with a trailer. plus if you tow then you can keep those miles off of your car.
