Dude, move to Chicgaoland then. You've already got the shitty weather, and here in IL they only test '96+ cars. Your '95 would be totally emissions exempt.

And the '96+ cars are just a scan test (no visual, no sniff), so with custom tuning you can do anything you want with newer cars too.

^^

hell no.

1. i hate the city of chicago with a passion. i don't like driving there.
2. I wouldn't run a front plate (**** those ugly *** plate holders) so i'd probably end up getting tickets constantly.
3. the only reason i'm still living in indiana is because its free up here. if i was paying rent i'd be headed back to FL or SC or something.

I was out today driving around in my 99 malibu which has its fiar share of rust for only being 10 years old and having 103k mi on it and there is barely any snow on the ground but all the roads are white with salt

I couldn't imagine NOT driving my car in the winter! Nothing like letting these little aluminum beasts inhale ice-cold dense air...

That's one of the best things about living in North Carolina. In the winter I receive virtually no frozen precip and temps still dip down into the teens and 20's at night with highs in the high 40's.

I hate Chicago too, which is why I'd never live in the city. All you'd really need to do is move right across the border and you'd be done with emissions tests.

If I leave IL, I'll be headed to either KY, TN, GA, NC, or SC.

I store both the TA and the Z for the winter, however this year I got screwed by the sweet weather up and until tues(no snow at all 40s). Now I gotta get the camaro down to the gas station thru shitloads of salty white roads to fill up the tank. I did the oil change last week. The hell with a white christmas! **** Cali is looking pretty f'n tempting even if you gotta stay stock lol

if i'm gonna do that i might as well move east into a county other than lake or porter in indiana and lose the emissions but not have to use that stupid front plate that illinois is so **** about.

to quote John Belushi...

I hate Illinois *****!

gas can + other car = win.

I was disgusted at the amount of salt on the roads here and we didn't even get any snow. they hear it "might" snow and they throw down tons of the crap

Not "storing" it exactly but I expect it will be in the garage most of January getting body work and will be at the painters in Feb. for a new coat of white. Basically we only have winter in this part of Virginia from the end of December until the first of Feb (wait, that's JUST January right?). People here think 40 degrees during the day is freezing...

I'm storing my car, just by parking it near a huge tree that hangs over it and covering it w/ a car cover and a pool cover
