I am going A4 to M6.
Why don't you try to use the TR6060.
I am going to drag my car and be in the low 9s maybe a high 8 with a built TR6060 by RPM and a Spec 5 clutch.
The car will be driven 20-30 miles a week for fun.

I kinda wish I had at least test driven an auto to see what it's like before I bought mine. Sometimes shifting gets annoying but I honestly couldn't see myself without the 6 speed anymore .. My 73 Camaro is an auto so it will be nice to switch off once it's running, sometimes I am just too tired to shift especially waking up at 6 am for school..
And Gordon isn't the fastest 6 speed in the world like an 8.5? You could break a record if you actually go as fast as you say, it would be pretty sweet.

I have a few things to say. The Auto in my car broke 3 times before I finaly switched to a T-56. I don't miss it one bit. Auto is good for a lazy man on the street and stalled is great on the track. To me it seems like your just kinda there with an auto, also it seems like an auto is just lagging and held back. With the T-56 I feel like I'm really part of the car because you have to shift it.

Shortly after i sold my 02 t/a m6, i purchased a 99 a4 with 3.23 gear ratio. Dont get me wrong, auto was quick but m6 was quicker from the factory... Even though Auto CAN be faster than m6, its just plain boring for me.
I am definitely picking up myself an ls1 m6 fbody in the near future... I just cant have it any other way.

Keep the T56 unless it's a drag only car.
I went the stalled auto route and then realized that at the time I was really only hitting the track once or twice a year, and as a DD the T56 made more sense. I was also constantly worried about my tranny letting go, now with the M6 I'm worried about my rear letting go. lol

M6 for a street/strip anyday. If your going all out strip go then yes, definitely go auto. I have a mid-high 11 second car and kicked the idea around of swapping to an auto till spring rolls around every year, you get in the car and fall back in love with the 6 speed. Just do a search on TOSTO racing. Them boys love to shift
