Default Looks Great!

You did a real good job on the install. Did you get the cowl side, heat extractor model?
Enjoy

I like yours in Black. Here's mine in Red:

Damnit! No. I didn't know that was an option. Had I known, I think I would have.

Your's looks great, man. Did you go with the cowl heat extractors? If so, I'd love to see some pics of it. Also, are the grilles removed from your hood or did the camera just not pick them up in the picture you posted?

Thanks for the praise. Always glad to see pics of another Formula, as well. Thanks for posting.

Here you go on the Extractor's pic.....
Grilles are there in the hood, tho for some reason don't show up.
I also have a Suncoast Creations Airbox to feed into the SLP smooth bellow and BBK TB. Real neat setup, and gets plenty of air to the motor too.

Tho with alot of snow on the ground throughout the country, that first day you can take it out, clean & polish it up as you like is just around the corner!

****, man! Thats freakin' awesome. I was aware you could get the extractors, but I guess I thought they would be on top of the hood (similar to the Firehawk Hood). I had no idea they were in the cowl. I'm kicking myself now.

I'd love to have the Suncoast Airbox, as well. It looks like a killer setup, but I couldn't justify spending another $300.00. (I put that cash in the H/C fund instead.)

Yeah, I read in the paper the other that on Friday 49 of the 50 states had snow on the ground. Hawaii was the only hold-out.

And you're right. Spring is coming. Just gotta be patient and keep our eyes on the prize.

Have any pics of the box mounted? I have the box as well but could never get it mounted, so it's just been sitting in my garage. If anyone wants that airbox, I'll hook ya up for cheap!

You need an LT1 rad support. Once you put that on, you'll be golden. It's a sweet setup with alot of intake area, so flows alot of air.

The hood seal keeps that baby right in-line with the direct shot of air thru the nostrils into a large accumulation area on the hood that has a semi foam-like seal around it.
Then that area fits right over the air intake, and seals around the filter on outermost border of the Air box.

(Hope you still have the directions, as I don't. Thing works great. If I come up with any pics, i'll post them)

These pics are from years ago before I added a BBK Throttle Body and was selling my stock one.
(Sorry for the dirty pics, but car was up north and in a dusty garage for the winter at the time. Last pic Shows a small portion of the rad support in the last pic.
It's the best I can do for now. Good Luck

If you can get her close to the computer screen for a minute or two, show her this thread and its multiple examples of beauty.

After that, how could she say "no". LOL

that is a beautiful hood bro, just put mine on a couple weeks ago. had to trim the back driver side corner just a lil to compensate for a molding defect but you wouldn't notice unless you knew it was there.

Lqdsilver, your Formula looks awesome! I like the contrasting color of the license plate insert, and, of course, the hood too. LOL
