My mistake. Still a nice looking car, though. Sorry to hear she is no more. Sounds like you've found a suitable replacement.

PowerShift408...

Wicked looking ride.

Thanks for the compliments fellas. I had to get another set made, and went with a little different style. This time around, I got "Snake Eater" on the hood. I can snap a pic if you guys want to see it.

It'll have to wait until tomorrow in the daytime. My garage doesn't have adequate lighting to produce a good picture.

Did you get em from fourthcircle?
Was considering blackbird stripes for my ws6 hood. Not sure if car name would be too long, so lookin forward to the snake eater pic

apocolypse too would be on mine.
My V6 was named apocolypse cause the gmmg exhaust made it sound like the end of the world.

Looks great. My Raptor hood required washers in the same spot, but other than that and how it rests on the nose of the front bumper & chews through the paint/bumper there, it fits EXTREMELY well. I also noticed that it was rubbing on the front corners of my aftermarket air lid combined with the WS6 lower air box (sits higher than stock lower air boxes), but that isn't an external fitment issue.

My car was a V6, and I did a California smog-legal LS1 swap. AFAIK I'm the only one who's on the forum that cared about CA smog certification enough to get the BAR sticker... lol

Here's a pic a taken a couple days after I installed the hood. Was still working on the headlight cover alignment on the drivers side at that time:

Yea, that left corner sticks up above the headlight door on mine as well. It's the way mine was molded....

My chews through the paint on the nose to. I can deal with it though for the look it gives the car.

I wondered if this wouldn't happen, by the way the front of the hood rests on the nose.

I wonder if there's a way to possibly pad the contact area.

I'll have to do some trial & error to see if I can come up with some kind of remedy.

Would like to see some more BB stripes on the Raptor hood. Been thinking about them for a while now.

i just got my hood and got it on the car... it will need quite a bit of adjustment and i noticed that at both rear corners the underside rubs the top of the hinge where it pivots... some spacers will probably solve that but the bolts are pretty short... does anyone know what thread pitch the bolts are that bolt the hood hinges to the hood??
