Curb weight of 2001 A4 t-top ws6?
Hi,
Every review I read has a different curb weight, between 3,400 and 3,600 LB, sure they'll vary a bit with multichanger options etc but that's alot of difference!
Anyone got more certain figures?
Thanks for the info

From my experience a average F-body with average options still on the car will be around 3300-3400. But you have to take into account your mods. taking stock parts off and replacing them (exhaust, etc) is going to take off weight while adding more or less. So the only way to be sure is is to weight it, but I would guess around 33-3400 lbs without driver

Thanks for the info and links starz
That's actually the most specific weight I've seen specified, a Curb Weight of 3,417 lbs is better than I feared, after hearing weights in the 3600 range!
I'll try and get mine weighed, and I agree, the few mods I've already done means mines not curb weight anymore, probably a touch heavier if any.
Thanks again,
Paul

^^^as far as just the trans?? They are actually pretty close with the edge going to the M6. However the stock torque converter weighs in at around 55lbs I believe and Im sure thats lighter then most/all clutches. Autos hold about a gallon more fluid total also, over 2 gallons total with a stock pan. M6 holds about what 4-5 quarts? Stock flexplate is pretty light, and aftermarket converters are in the neighborhood of about 35lbs. So I could see how an auto could about level the playing field.
