hey, thanks for all the comments fellers.

the car still sits in its current engineless state. ran into money problems last summer and didnt have the $$$ to get the parts for the engine to do it right after the fuckstain built my shortblock wrong. i dug the block out of the corner of the garage the other day, only to discover deep scratches from the piston skirt in every cylinder...so im at a cross roads...ill throw them out here for some opinions...sorry to *****.

1. hone my block to 3.903 and sell my 3.898 Mahle Forged pistons and buy new 3.903 pistons..
2. buy a new (used) LS1 block and stuff it with my already balanced 3.898 pistons, crank and rods...
3. buy more expensive custom pistons for my 6.0 iron block, have rotating assembly re-balanced and stuff it in the 6.0 block for a 370.

ugh...such a hard decision.

If they are going to give him 11.5 they are able to make money off it. Buyback wouldn't be cheap. He'd spend most of his settlement in buying the car then he still has to fix it. In this case it could be fixed but it's better to take the money and run.

I'd go either 2 or 3. Depending on money. Probably lean towards #2.
