BTW, I forgot all about this...but I had the same thing happen to me about five years ago with my Mustang. A kid I worked with hounded me for months to sell him my car. I finally threw out a number one day (I was thinking about unloading it anyways) and he took it. That was the easiest car sale I ever made.

I agree SELL! I had a guy hound me for weeks about selling him my car(95 T/A with 68K miles. I told him it wasn't for sell then I decided to sell it. I contacted him and he said that he was just joking. I then sold it to a friend for $6,000. I know I gave him a good deal. That was just over a month ago. I then turned around and bought my 02 Z28 from a member here for $6,500 with 73k miles. So yeah sell it then get another one with a good bit of cash to mod it with!!!!
I also would only sell with my Kimber 1911 .45 Ultra Carry on my side!!!!

I didn't rape him, I gave him a price, and he accepted.
I wasn't going to sell it for $5-6K, I would keep it as my garage queen under a cover, but for 10K I felt it was a good price and enough that I could do something with the money in the future.

I called the guy earlier today, no answer, but I left a messege letting him know if he still wants it, its his. If he wants the car still he'll call me back. If he's bsing then I keep my car.

I can definitely see this as a legit deal! My hardtop Formula burned several months ago and I keep my eyes peeled for another silver hardtop Formula everywhere I go. I also keep an "emergency fund" in case I find said car. I guarantee if I find a silver Formula hardtop in someone's driveway I'll be at their door with my bank on the phone ready for a wire transfer.
