I watch the weather every time I consider driving my TA. If there's a 10% chance of sprinkles, the 08 Tundra comes out. Cleaning black sucks.

My Z28 is my daily driver, so I don't really have a choice. But I hate the rain. I enjoy driving with my windows down, all the time. And when it really pours I can't see hardly anything and then the roads start flooding and yea that's no fun. Traction doesn't really change though to be honest. My 295 goodyear eagle F1 GS-D3's are amazing...best tires I've ever had. Traction in the rain is simply amazing, I actually have to try to spin the tires if I want to.

Thats what I'm talkin about right there as far as traction goes. Its just another car to me as far as driving in rain goes, but I like it ALOT more than the other 2 cars we have combined.

I hear ya, my TA with the D3's is better in the rain than my Expedition. Snow is another matter though.

I hate driving in the rain, because my driver's side window doesnt seal up perfectly with the t-top and it drips a few drops on me every few minutes. Besides that, no real problems that my right foot didnt cause

Its proabably the torque arm bushing. I am having the same issue with the clunking. I lifted the car up and started inspecting it to find that my ta bushing completely fell apart.

If it's not the torque arm bushing check the trans. mount, mine was wheel hopping and clunking and I finally got it on a lift and the mount was in pieces. Bill

I have those on the rear of the Trans Am and they are pretty good.

I don't like driving IN the rain, but at night after its done pouring, and the streets are soaked I like it.

I hate driving my car in the rain. I can't see for **** and the 315's don't really make for a fun wet driving experience. My truck feels so much better in the rain than the car, and that's cammed with a 3600 stall.

But with snow tires all around it does great in the snow.

No, I'm not at all a fan of driving the SS in the rain. I have a Grand Am for those days. The SS is a complete waste in the rain.

One particular race I recall losing in my Corvette -- I was 16 years old at the time and immature enough to make this bad decision. Wet rainy night. Cruising through town with a buddy in the passenger seat. Two chicks in a Sunfire GT (there is such a thing) pull up to the light and are revving the tiny little motor beneath the hood. I figured even with a complete lack of traction I would just walk away from them on the way up to the speed limit. Wrong. Their car dead hooked (HAHA -- not enough power to spin the wheels on wet pavement) and I sat there spinning. At the next light the girls were cheering wildly as they just beat a Corvette. I tipped my hat and congratulated them.

I Was With My Friend In His 99 Z28 In The Rain... He Loves Driving It In The Rain. Drifting (Power Sliding) Around Corners And Just Sliding And Spinning All Over The Place.... Not the Safest Way To Have Fun... But Who Said Fun Is Safe Anyways.....
