Default What's the best way to ship a cat-back?

I'm looking to sell my Borla cat-back either on here or on ebay, but the problem is I can't figure what would be the best way to ship it. Should I try to take it off in one piece or cut it into a few sections and ship it that way?

I personally wouldn't cut on it at all. Leaving it in as stock of a condition as possible.

Just cut it @ the muffler were it goes over the rear and ship it in 2 pieces.

Didn't even think about that when I was typing.

Should I try to find a massive box or just wrap it in shrink wrap and bubble wrap like Summit ships tail pipes and such?

Take a few measurements and calculate the shipping difference.

Just put it in the mail box, better yet take to the UPS store. . . LMAO

No, really though. . . .

Get a huge box. . . If it really is way too big, you will have to cut it. It can be welded back just fine.

whatever flow change that will cause will be minimal as far as performance goes, maybe even nonexistent

What kind of exhaust is it? If its an aftermarket system, just use their cuts and put it in a box. If its a stock one, cut it at places that can be easily reconected/fixed. Get some shipping rates... And see for yourself how much it will help to make it fit into as small of a box as possible.
