Im still running a stock drivetrain on my 2000 TransAm. Im adding drag radials tomorrow as well as the 100 shot of nitrous that was installed in the winter but has never been put to its full potential due to traction problems. In your opinions what do you think will fail first? Rearend?Clutch?Transmission? Im betting on the rearend.

I would definitly say the clutch if its stock. I know these rearends are not the greatest but I think that alot of people (especially online) think that there are made of paper. There not really that bad. And I would expect the stock clutch to give out before you break the rear.

If you're still on the stock clutch, get ready for a sticky pedal. The rear would be the next logical choice, however that will likely make it for a while as long as you aren't dumping from 4K at a dig on the drag radials. One decent dead hook and you could be in trouble -- otherwise I think the rear may hang in there for you.
