Stock stall is a 12" case with a 1600rpm stall speed. The aftermarket ones usually have a smaller case and a higher stall speed ranging from 2000 to 5000+ rpm.
"Locked" simply means that the torque converter clutch has been engaged (locked) on the dyno to produce less slip and thus a higher dyno number. The TCC (torque converter clutch) makes an auto behave more like a maunal trans while locked, taking some of the power loss of a torque converter out of the equation.
"Unlocked" would be the normal setting for an auto trans when at WOT (like on a dyno). With a stock trans/TC/PCM/no manual switch, the TCC would never lock under WOT conditions.
