is this a true SS?

Everything on that car looks good, but honestly there is no way to tell by looking at the car. Only way to be 100% certain is to either 1. get the RPO codes or 2. call SLP with the vin. If the car is not shady and a clone the seller should have no problem providing you with either.
Truth is there is really no way to look at a car and say "its a clone" because you never know what could have happened to the car. The newest one of these cars is 8 years old so most have been around the block a few times. I can turn any Z/28 into a clone and you wont be able to tell a difference. And on the flip side, you never know someone could have bought a SS and got in a small wreck and put a Z/28 hood or spoiler on it b/c it was cheaper. OR switched to 16 inch rims for one reason or another. There is no way to tell, and although its unlikely ive seen stranger things in my life.

Unless you were to change out the RPO sticker on the door to a fake one AND change the VIN. Anyone who knows where to go can run the VIN and see if RPO WU8 comes up... or not.

Dude that wing is funny, has no filter lmao, wheels are 17x11 on the rear. Best way is to check the vin honestly. But if someone adds all slp parts to a z28 it officialy becomes a authentic SS slp will send you a sticker n stuff

I was saying that in a purely cosmetic way. Meaning without looking at the vin or RPO codes. Meaning that anyone can add wheels, hood, and spoiler to a car and have to done well enough to where if you park it next to a "real'' SS it is nearly impossible to tell which one is a true SS and which is the clone.

No they wont, and no they never have. Once the vehicle is delivered to a dealership the RPO codes CANNOT be changed. They can in rare occurences be amended with a second RPO label, but they cannot be changed.

OP where is that car currently at? I saw one of the pics said Auto Park (I know they have a few locations) on the plate, and it almost looks like its in Plymouth, IN. (at least whent he pics were taken) If thats the case and the car is still there I can go take a look at the door stickers after work some day.

I've wondered if you ******* were blind or what. I posted this before and deleted it because no one seems to be able to comprehend it.
