Fact of the day, Nova sales in South America were poor because Nova translated means "No Go".

A 4/7 should be tucking rim, he's not even tucking tire. Looks like a very small static drop to me, maybe a 2/3.

I'm used to S-10 guys dragging frame on the interstate though, so my scale might be a little off.

Sounds like your set on the truck and the idea sounds good.........but............what about a 70's Elcamino? Late 70's early 80's to be exact. The SS package on them is sweet, room to work, and the width of the rear is probably close if not identical to an Fbodyso modification to the 9" would prolly be minimal. I like to think outside the box so dont everybody slap me at once lol

I had alot of options run through my mind..alot of them cars you guys had mentioned I thought about.

The biggest things that sets me into the Truck are this..

1. There is room in the Engine Bay, I can actually work on it.
2. It's setup for a LS Engine..fuel injection, wiring, fitment, etc.
3. I've done the T56 swap in one for a friend of mine so that was really easy and shifter location was perfect.
4. It'll be an excellent sleeper, and fun as hell..

Not going for Racing here..trust me it will have more than enough power to move out.

I'm goin for fun and it will def be fun.

As far as hookin up, I'll have a fat bitch in the back and tell her to jump as soon as she sees the first gear shift light.

As far as a back seat goes..it'll have a whole damn bed..lol..

That and any GN owner, including this non owner would shank you for putting anything other than a gm 6 cyl turbo in that car.

People use 80s monte carlo bodys to do v8 swaps and clone it to look like the GN.

I'm not saying rip the v6 out of a original GN. duh

Ya I wouldn't tear up a GNX..I'm not that stupid..lol..

That type of car has crossed my mind tho..saw a Cutlass earlier and it grabbed my attention.

I'm really leaning toward the truck cause it would be fun, but I'm on the fence about it. If I can get a good deal on the truck then it will go in. It's either the truck or something that will house that Engine well and make it fast. A friend of mine suggested a 300Z..
The mid-80's 2 door cars have my eye too..it's just a matter of a little this n that to make it work. That and if it's a 4-link a 9" will go in easily.

I'm open ears and I like the ideas..keep them comin.

300z's are a nightmare to work on, trust me. I picked up a 94 300zx awhile back to do an lsx swap in and immediately sold it after i saw how much work and time it was going to take.

yep, heard that a long time ago. on the other hand, I would bet the engine fits nicely under the hood. If a big block with large tube headers can fit with the factory a/c, I'm sure the ls swap would be easy.

Cant say I'm a big fan of that truck up there, but I did see a black, early 90's RCSB silverado dropped on black ralley's with chrome trim rings and a 2" cowl. Now that looked nice.
