Ya some 17's are a must and will be going on..atleast a 275/40 tire.

9" Rear, 3.89 Gears, 408/T56, needs a new Radiator, all wiring from the Camaro will be going in with the F-body Gauges so everything will be working correctly. It will have the capability to be tuned with my HP Tuners..

Hedman 1 3/4"/3" Long Tube Headers, Strange Chromeoly Drive Shaft, definately some UMI Aftermarket Suspension..LCA's, Adjustable Rear UCA's, Front & Back Sway Bars, Coil Overs all around. Brake Upgrade to 4-way Disc that are worth a ****. Prob LT1 for the Backs, whatever will work for the front. Clutch Pedal I'm workin on, adapting the Camaro Center Console to fit in the car since it will be a 6spd.
True-dual 3" Exhaust with X-pipe using my Flo-Pro Twistie Mufflers piped out the back.
Then once it's worked out with the LS Engine and all the old non-needed 80's stuff is out..sound system upgraded.

The factory front speakers are only 3 1/2" but Kicker makes a good replacement. You can also get lower kick panels that are make to accept a much larger speaker. Only drawback is on the drivers side you will have to bend the e-brake pedal out some. Not sure how that would work with a clutch pedal being there also. Be careful when sizing the tires. Large wide tires and g-bodies require some careful planning. I couldn't use disc brakes on my 9" rear because of the car being lowered. The calipers were going to hit the frame rail. It might just be the brand of brakes that caused the problem. They were factory ford ****.

Ah..well that's cause they were ford junk..lol..

I'll see how the LT1 setup runs on the car, including the complete Ebrake setup. I was wondering about how that Ebrake Pedal would affect clearance. If I can get the FBody Center Console in the car I might use the FBody Ebrake Handle.

I concur. I've always wanted to build one of these cars with LS power. I had a non SS I swapped a hot 350 / 350 in for a while and it was a blast to drive. My biggest complaint is the frame is C channel in the middle... take a strip of 4" 11 ga and box it in to eliminate flex and you're good to go. I had mine off the frame so it was easy but it can still be done while it's all together.

Clean looking car BTW.

Any bets on how long the 10 bolt lasts or are you swapping the nine inch in while you can still sell the working 10 bolt? hahahaha

My first car was a 85 MCSS!! Its ironic because I actually thought about buying it back and building a carbed lsx motor for it. It already has 8.5 10bolt, beefed up 200r4 and newer paint/ carpet... very tempting lol! Good luck with the build!

Ya it's a pain. I'll have the motor, drivetrain, and good parts out of the silver one here Saturday, then scrappin it next week.

Then sell/trade the not needed parts, and build the Monte.
