It was nice, I think the Monte Carlo SS will be nicer in a way.
I took it out that nite with the 350 in it, it's a blast to drive.

Paint is stayin gloss black, the wheels I want some polished aluminum American Racing TT2's, 17x9.5 all around so I can run a 275/40 tire. I might run 11's in the back, it's a matter of what I can find, or what will fit.

My requirement is that I can pop the hood & get to all 8 Cylinders to change the plugs.

I got a 1998 Camaro cause the frame on the LT1 Car broke, then the 1998 car got into a fight with a telephone pole.

They need to do something about those telephone poles, they almost never look both ways...

Here are the only pics I could find of my 86 MC. My first car, it was a 4.3 V6, swapped to a 350 with a mild cam after HS. Painted the car with my dad and drove it through college. It sure wasn't fast but it was fun to drive. Was planning on using it as my beater after I bought my Camaro but a few month later on my way to work some loser with no license that was high at 6:30 in the morning blew a stop sign and I t-boned him while I was doing 55-60. I think the car took the hit pretty well considering I didn't have a scratch on me.

Nice lookin car.

IMO the fact that you weren't hurt is all that matters..car is a car, plenty of them out there and more built every day.

I'm lookin forward to this one when it's done..it'll be nice to have a change from a Fbody and actually be able to change all my plugs..lol..

Well the 9" Housing has been ordered for the rear. It was a custom order G-body Housing, Axle Tubes have been extended out 2" on each side to clear the LT1 Disc Brakes. They will bolt the same way they do on the F-body so I can keep my Axles..

Track down a 67-69 F-Body and shove it in there. Just look for a "smog- exempt" car. Clasic look with modern performance!! ... Its Frankenstien's monster, just cooler!
