question about SLP lid

Default question about SLP lid

this might not be the rite place to post this and i am sry if it is. but i ordered a SLP lid before i came back to iraq and it didnt come with the little rubber piece that the vaccume line goes into. so i wasn able to put it on yet. where do i get one of these rubber pieces. idk wat is is even called. anyone have one sitting around that they would like to get rid of?

Have you called SLP yet?

i didnt get it from SLP i got it fro hunder racing. i emailed them but they never emailed me back about it

^ It should be the AIR system air supply line for the pump. They prolly sent you the non-AIR lid. I could actually swap ya, if you want. I blocked my AIR hole off on my SLP lid.

its not the line that is mssing it is the little ubber thing that slips in the hole on the side of the air lid that the vacume line slides into

When i received my slp lid it came with a plastic 90 with barb on each end and a rubber grommet that went into the hole in the lid.

you could probably find something from Lowes. Atleast a plug for it.

Did yours come with the plastic 90 ? If so you need outside diameter of that by inside diameter of hole in lid. I would try auto parts store or hardware store then maybe big box store.

yes it came with the 90 and everythign it should come with but that little rubber grommet

go to autozone and look for a valve cover grommet, it should fit!

thanks man i appreciate that i never thought about using one of them from autozone. and i am prettysure it wouldnt be smart if i filled in the hole rite? lol

Get rid of your air and EGR and just plug the hole or like stated tried a parts store and try to find something similiar

You can plug the hole in the lid and not have any issues. The line that comes from the lid runs to the AIR pump, which does not need filtered air to run. If you want to feel safe about that line, just buy a small valve cover filter and fit it on the end of the line and then hide in down near the fuse boxes.
