Default switch for brake lights on/off

is there a way to wire up a toggle switch in the car to flip off the brake lights even when using the brakes....at night?

all other lights work but wire a toggle to turn off all lights on the rear?

Just wire a toggle switch into either the power or ground wire for your brake light switch. This would kill the brake lights. If you want to kill all the rear lights it will get more involved but basically the same idea.

If you wire a brake light kill switch and get rear ended because the person behind didn't slow down in time, you will be held civilly and criminally negligent.

Put a switch on the one ground wire in the rear..extend it and run it to the front where you can reach it. That will take out all the rear lights.

wouldnt you have to run a switch to each ground wire for the rear lights? turns, nighttime and brake lights? or are they all on the same ground?

hmmm? any idea which wire? Im not good with schematics.
I'll run a toggle switch in between the ground wire and see if it works and post up.

Would the ground wire be located in the rear? by the tail lights?
