So It seems he also gave me such a great deal because he seemed to be quite wealthy going by the neighborhood he lives in. He was a cool guy and we actually went in his house and hung out for a while. Anyway, when I got there it turns out it's a 02 Z28 and not SS (no big deal though). The whole body except the front is in pretty much mint condition. The interior still smells brand new too with no signs of wear on the seats. Pics will be posted on post #1 in a few mins.... I really hit the jackpot on this one

Congrats man, sounds like you got a deal. And yea, sometimes people with money don't want to deal with the hassle and time of selling so they let it go cheap. A few years ago I found a mint 300GT VR4 for sale for about half it was actually worth and it turns out that the guy wanted to trade it in but the dealer offered him next to nothing. So he wanted to sell it cheap to move it quickly.

I'm not a body guy, but looks like a part out to me, unless you can get someone to do the work for cheap and you use parts from your car. Wonder why the bags didn't go off, though.
BTW, like someone mentioned above, I THOUGHT I wanted leather seats in my Camaro, until I actually got a Camaro with leather. Cloth is much better.
Like I mentioned in an earlier thread, the guy probably bought a toy, wrecked it, and just wanted to get rid of it. Happens a lot with motorcycles and sports cars when we guys go through our "Mid Life Crisis". He probably didn't have it insured or didn't want to claim it on his insurance.
Again, good deal, glad it worked out.
