Default Whats next for my car?

Just got the ss3600 stall and I love it! But now the itch is back for more.
Which route should I go? Heads and cam? Or what iv really been thinking is forced induction. Car is 95% street car. Motor, trans, and rear end is stock.

Only go forced induction if you have the money to do it right (see below)

https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...induction.html

My vote is for heads/cam/intake or possibly nitrous. You can setup nitrous the right way for half the cost of forced induction as long as you only want around a 150 shot or less.

Absolutly no nitrous. I wanna use what I will have on the street as well as the small % im at the track. 95% street car. I wont be using nitrous for the street.
Maybe I should just get a cam.

Your car is my inspiration, I want exactly what you have done to yours by the end of this year, going early into next, perfect bolt-on setup. Very nice SS man.

As for the next mod, I would say that you go ahead and do something with the stock rear. If you do this, you will avoid any problems you may run into with the 10 bolt once you do start modifying it a bit more heavily. I would also just continue to modify it suspension wise afterwards as well, prepare it properly for the upcoming power.

I'm looking at a 3600 stall myself for this summer... how much did it cost you to install? (unless you did it yourself)

Thanks! I think your right but with just a cam and being an auto wouldnt you think the 10 bolt would be ok for a while?

I just think it's really sort of a crapshoot, it could be either or, might break, might not. I've read a lot of different stories and claims from different people about the 10 bolt's, I just don't really know. There are a lot of different variables in involved. But just to be on the safe side (especially with a cam), me personally, I would get something stronger in it's place, whether it be an A4 or M6

But then again, I'm not speaking off of experience, my car is 100% stock minus window tint

If my car was a m6 I think the first mod would have been a rear seriously. Im not "so much" worried about the rear with it being an a4. Iv been told from guys who have been in the game for a while that the trans itself is more the weak link than the 10 bolt when talking a4s. But like anything theres to many variables I def understand that and who the hell knows lol.
I think I want a cam lol

I say H/C/I/E/Boltons you'll make decent/great power and be very streetable! Have fun with it either way u choose to go!

I"d agree that if you don't want to end up spending a load of money, getting a cam or head/cam package would probably be your best bet. If you pick out the right setup they can be extremely streetable while still giving you a lot more power than you have now.

FI is awesome, but only if you have the money to do it once/do it right (or do it wrong a bunch of times over).

Some gears in the rear end would wake that thing up

Your 10 bolt is going to **** a brick if you put h/c on. I would put your money towards a 12 bolt and suspension. Then after that get your h/c, so now you'll actually have some traction and wont have to worry about your rear going out.
