Sweet ride man and a really good deal....I paid 26 grrrr for an 03 coupe
with 15 thou on it back in Dec./10. The first thing my pops said was you
need to lower it and get rid of the door molding. I personally like the door
trim and YES lowering it would look better....but driveway scrapeage is real
nasty alredy

Nice car man and congrats! It's the next step. Then Porsche 997t. At least that's how my brother did it. SOB!
Just finally got my SS so I'm good for a while. Now, get rid of that front plate. Aren't most cops pretty cool with Vetts that don't have them?

If 75k went into an f body I find it hard to believe the z06 would be better unless its the look of the vette thats more important to the person.
My vote goes to 75k into f body

Still wouldn't be the same. I had a 650rwhp 382/N 2000 Z28 with a full Strano/BMR suspension, brakes and weight-reduction and my then stock C5Z still blew me away. The C5Z is still a world-class sportscar and a great bargain right now.

Skip shift. Your f-body should have had it stock as well. You can get it tuned out though whenever you get around to getting a tune.

damn man, everytime i come across your signature, i think to myself "thats 1 sexy *** z06". Glad you are enjoing the ride!
Since im currently modding up my 98 trans am, im daily driving my 02 z06... every time i drive it, its just feels soo much better than my t/a... feels like a solid built vehicle that feels smooth, comfortable and enough powerful from the factory ( ok, it has an intake
) !!! It even gets better gas mileage than my Fbody, mainly because its an m6 and the t/a is a4
Idk if i wanna go back to DDing my 98 t/a now after full bolt ons and a stall

Nothing too major for now.... I'd like to do a cam/bolt-on setup over the winter though.
Thanks!
There was a black 07 C6 Z sitting at a dealership down the street.. I didnt even want to stop because I was afraid of this. lol
The police around here are real picky with that stuff. I had a ton of "no front plate" tickets in my SS.
Thanks!
If I was looking to build a race car, I'd definately go with a f-body. But... I'm not. I wanted something I could hop in everyday over the summer and have fun with. I dont want to DD an 800hp f-body. lol
This.
Thanks!
Thanks! I put almost 700 miles on it since Friday. ![Nod](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_nod.gif)

It still wouldnt be a zo6 because the body style is different lol

The interior in the Vette is more comfortable (imho) than the f-body. The seats are more comfortable and I feel as though its more spacious. I'm not the smallest guy (6'3 265lbs) and I fit in it fine.
