If you want to get laughed at, then trade for the stang. Besides, that body style is in fact ugly as sin, its very plain and theres nothing to it. Do stangs have T-tops? Hell no lol and if your girlfriend loves stangs, tell HER to go buy one or trade for one. She loves them, doesnt mean YOU have to trade YOUR car for a stang, tell HER to trade HER car for a stang lol. Keep the camaro, fix the body and have a cleaner camaro then that Rustang. End of story.....Next! lol

I wasn't implying the Mutang has better performance then the Camaro, I just like the Mustang a little more. Even though the Fbody would walk all over them. To each their own.
And I also don't understand the reasoning to bash Mustangs just because the Fbody is faster stock or just because of owning a GM.

Only read the first page but is this a troll thread? There's no way someone who didn't have brain cancer would think about trading a LS1 F-Body for a SN95 GT. That **** is too stupid to happen in real life.

How do you make an SN-95 Mustang's powerplant on par with an LS? Throw a Windsor or Cleveland in it, lol. Please don't say put an LS in it. That's like putting pickles in icecream, that sh*t just does not belong.

Well I had a 98 Cobra mustang, and those come with the 4v 4.6 and they even get the **** kicked out of them by LS1's. If you want a clean car by all means by the mustang, but you will get bored of it quickly. Trust me ive owned my fair share of stangs and pretty BA ones too. I still prefer my stock LS1 TA.

I don't think I would trade a car in just because it has dents....And I know I wouldn't do it for a girl my girlfriend hates my car because it's not German.

I had a 02 mustang gt about 3 months ago and i didnt think it was fast after 6k dollars worth of mods so i got my 02 trans am ws6 a4 bone stick and it would kick my old stangs ***...REAL BAD....lol....but it all depends on what u want....i would say keep youre ls1 bro.....theyre better imo

But yea, as everyone else said, very very, VERY bad idea... your car is at least 2.5 seconds faster in 1/4 mile. Ive owned 2 98 gt's in the past, both modded. One was bolt on with a vortech S/C and the other one was N/A... Both got spanked by a stock ls1 pretty good haha...

Now if someone comes around and has a 98 cobra with some mods... then it would be tough... I myself wouldnt do it though
