yeah,
when it comes to resell value, from my experience, it gives a potential buyer a good understanding of the overall quality of a particular vehicle.

If you buy a car for 70k and 3 years later its worth say.. 20k or less, that prolly means it had major recalls, known issues, poor design ingeneral ect

although if u bought a different car for the same price but its worth say 60k or 50k 3 years later, I say thats a solid vehicle overall.

Most automobiles loose their value over time geez gais

OP you'd be ballin' in a RR or LR but from word of mouth and from previous owners, they tellin' me they aren't worth the price you initially pay. Unless ofcourse you do your research and find out you got a great deal, and its more rugged than originally perceived, then by all means go for it just be careful

The GTO is nicer inside but I love the SS because it seems more "raw." Also if you have t-tops that is a crucial factor as well....how many other cars have that!?!

Tell her she doesn't need a Range Rover. Problem solved. A family friend has one, just had an alternator go bad. I believe the bill was $2,200.

It all boils down to your opinion honestly. I just got out of a 02 SS for my 06 GTO and have absolutely no regrets. Funny thing is I was eyeballing a vette not too long ago and decided to stop in to see what I could get trade in on my GTO out of curiosity. They offered me 17800 trade in when I paid 18200 for it with 36k miles-it has 46k currently. Salesman was amazed at the value on the car and how it actually went up a tad since I purchased it he said he hadn't see too many new cars do that...
I'm glad I got out of my Fbody when I did seems like prices are plunging on them.

Well here is the plan. We drove a 08 TBSS on saturday and she is in love. SO were gonna buy her one, keep the GTO and i'm gonna trade or sell the SS and get a Duramax Diesel silverado. I know most of you would keep the SS but i have been wanting a diesel for a while and i get to keep the goat. So i can have my cake and eat it too. The GTO is a newer and more comfortable car for a family but i can still do the same mods i wanted to do to the SS and i dont have to worry about the rear end going out and being extra noisey with an infant or young child in the car.
