I usually turn the key, wait for the pump to kick, start it and let it warm up a good 5-7 mins.. IDK about others, but i always lets the motor warm up a good amount before I even dare to drive it.. Of course for the first few miles after that I'm always easy on it but after she's up to full running temp and the trans is warm after going through the gears a few times, I put the hammer down!

temp. is 109 over here and i let it sit 5-7 mins depending on how early i am lol never drove it cold. take it easy till psi and temps r normal.
