4th gens are pretty rare up here. I generally see more exotics then trans am's, so most people have no idea what my car is.
Generally "what is that" is the most common question.

I also get asked a lot, "Has that thing got a 350?"
Next most common question. "What kind of car is it?" I reply, "It's a 2001 Camaro Z28" they reply, "Oh, is it the IROC?" *facepalm*

I thought it was funny when me and my friend saw 2 stock 99 trans ams and a stock vette race and the trans am lost by a bumper. He looked at me and said i didnt know ot was that fast and i was like face to palm hard

I get all the time "Whats the fastest you've been in it?" I get so tired of it. Being a smart *** I always say "I almost got it up to 65 on the hwy one time" haha they look at me like im retarted

One day i got asked if my camaro( stock at the time) was supercharged! kid heard this whining noise i had on the pulley on my water pump and i just say yea bro! He was driving a riced out civic

It's just frustrating answering questions from people who think they know about cars but really know absolutely nothing. I'm sure everyone agrees you basically have to dumb down your answers in order for people to understand what your talking about.
