Default stock running temp?

My thermostat went bad and started leaking an absurd amount of coolant. I just replaced it and topped off the coolant took it for a ride and now i cant remember exactly where the stock temp would run. Im running a little under 210 i feel like that is a tad higher than what it was but im not sure if my mind is playing tricks on me.

I assume from your sig that you have a 2002? If so unless you have a aftermarket temp gauge, the factory gauge is a dummy gauge. It really only shows 3 things, Cold, normal, and overheating (meaning there not accurate). 1998's were the only f bodies with accurate temp gauges.

^^^true story. Also, if your t stat went bad, it's probably doing it's job better and letting less water back to the radiator allowing it to come to normal temp.

As mentioned they are all dummy gauges other than 98's. I have an aeroforce to monitor mine and it runs 190-192 all day under normal driving conditions.
