Fwiw when I had a single pod it wasn't for the the entire pillar so that might be the route you'll have to take. Do they even make a full length single pod?

Anyone else find the aeroforce drains the battery overnight? Having to unplug from the OBD port when parked then plug it back in after cranking up.

Sent mine in for repairs and its still draining battery overnight.

I've never had a problem with mine doing that. I used to have to unplug and plug it back in before I hard wired it, but Ive had it plugged in since I hard wired it and it's never drained my battery.

Ive never had an issue in my 99 formula . The gauge is 4 or 5 yrs old . But never had an noticeable issue , this includes not driving the formula for about a week and a half and no battery tender .

These can be hardwired? That would be nice and if it still drains a simple toggle switch can fix the draining.

Yes, they can be hardwired. I had to with my car beacuse it's a 98 and wouldn't work if I kept it plugged in after I turned the car off.

Went looking for true hardwire instructions and only found how to hotwire the 12V to power the unit. Think I might hardwire the entire unit so OBD port can still be used for dyno, tuning, and code scanners. Has anyone tried this?

Well if you have the car on the dyno or are tuning it, odds are you have a laptop plugged in reading whatever the gauge is able to see so there's no point to have both really. Also the gauge is able to read codes and clear them so you don't need to worry about that either.

With the hard wire adapter, all you need to do is wire it to a 12v source and keep the gauge plugged in.
