Default Torque OBD

Purchase a OBD Bluetooth adapter on ebay and create a vehicle specific profile and you will be quite suprised how accurate this tablet program is. I really enjoy mine and no battery drain!

While these are cool. Aeroforces read much quicker which is important to me since I generally scan for KR and other things.

Another vote for the Aeroforce! I have had mine for about three years. Great product.

I've got the dual Aeroforce gauges in my GTO. Gauge 1 is set on IAT and Coolant Temp, Gauge 2 is set on Oil Pressure and Oil Temp.

Im getting one of these as well, and I was looking at the install instructions. do you need to plug in that 3 wire connection anywhere? or is that 100% optional? If not, where did you run the red wire too and where do they other 2 pins go?? thanks

I have the dual gauge setup. I like it but I'm not convinced the Aeroforce sending units are completely accurate. My fuel pressure readings are 2-3 psi lower than what my mechnical gauges show. Not a major deal as they're pretty good beyond that.

I'm pretty sure you can set the gauge to scroll through multiple parameters of your choice if you want to display more than 2 settings per gauge.

thanks for the responses guys. How accurate will it be with trans temp vs a single trans gauge in the transmission?

Another user here. Reading Trans Temp and Coolant Temp constantly. Have it set to where I can monitor o2 sensors, speed, and fuel level with the push of the button.

What is the benefit of monitoring the o2 sensors?

I was monitoring the reading for a while because I had o2 sensor codes all the time. The scan gauge will tell you the readings of them so you can see if they are in the acceptable range. Turns out they were fine it was my tune that was no good.

Can anybody confirm the installation of this gauge? If you just plug the main connection into the odb2 port won't It always have power? Do you need to run that 3 wire connection to a switch power line?

I had to run power to mine in my '98 Trans Am, as I recall later models don't need this? Check the Aeroforce forum if it's still active.

Looks pretty accurate on the fuel level. Every time I switch to it, it is where the stock gauge is at.
