I honestly couldn't tell you, as I bought the car used. All I know is that it is a complete heads cam package from Texas Speed, and they said I had everything I needed to be safe...base on receipts of purchase that the previous owner made

Good. The car has power everywhere. I'll be bringing it back to slowhawk once I get some ported ls6's in the spring.

i have the V2 and daily drive mine. also have a SS3600...i finished my build a couple months ago and i already wish i would have went with a bigger cam; it's street manners are VERY GOOD, too good for my preference. I'll be swapping to something more aggressive next winter for sure.

and for the price of the trunion upgrade, you might as well do it man.

How does the v2 do down low? I read that it's power comes higher up in the rpm band.

honestly i did all of my mods at once, so it's hard for me to give you an accurate opinion because the car is a whole new car from before.

texas speed has a killer deal on a full heads and cam package for like 2100 dollars.

Those are some badass 225cc heads too.

and the 233/239 cam is going to compliment it and make some amazing power.

compression would need to stay 10:1 or a little better.

Worry about nitrous after and go to nitrous outlet when you get ready for a wet 150 kit. that will put you in the 9's with some skinnies and a few other weight saving mods. (assuming your suspension and fuel are setup for it)

I think the 233/239 might be a bit big for my car with the mods i have. I'm not really looking to do heads right now but the prices they have for combos aren't bad. I'm not too concerned with track times since ill go 1 maybe 2 times a year.

why do you say that? it is barely 1 step bigger then the V2. and im serious when i say this thing is SUPER streetable. i am like you and barely ever make it to the track (closest is also 2 hrs away) and my car is a DD (sunny, rainy, snowy) i plan on stepping up to a MS3 next year or something close to it.
