We have been pricing out a few different arms lately. We haven't found one that really meets what we are looking for. We did how-ever move forward with a laser scanner, which is not installed yet. The laser scanner benefits outweigh the our needs for an arm how-ever, considering the speed of inspection.
Thanks,
Kyle

How far out would you say a production piece is? I'm a week or two away from ordering an intake, but I would have to order the Hi ram and then modify it a lot. So if you said 1-2 months I could probably live with that. PM me if you'd like, Im not going to hold you to a date like its set in stone. I know how this process goes all to well

Also, we want to make sure its aesthetically pleasing. We will keep all posted when we have more major updates.

In for the finished product. I might change from my ported 92 to a high rise style intake for the turbo build.

We are working hard to ensure it is the best alternative bolt on intake manifold on the market. We want to be sure to work out any kinks prior to release.

We believe that our high rise intake would be an excellent option for your turbo build. We anticipate having an update today as we button up final measurements. Unfortunately this project has been pushed back a small amount for other projects, but will soon resume to normal product development.
Thanks,
Kyle

I picked up a cheap used PP 96mm intake for the time being...and a used LS2 to port. Will wait to spend real (more than $500) money on this.
The FARO is great for inspection purposes, especially on production pieces that you can mount in a jig, select some points on the part, you immediately see on screen pass or fail, and then slap the next part on the jig and do it again. For reverse engineering though, its not the best, the scanner you have is, but the faro can quickly pull planes and points in to a cad file if needed.

We might post a picture here soon.
For the bling bling factor, we are going to have a nice looking piece, but we are also trying to ensure we don't blow out the price point. Hell, we could do a fully billet machined piece, but then you're looking at a $5000 intake opposed to about $800-1200. Most of the intakes on the market that have that appearance are priced realistically. Billet is not cheap!
We are fortunate to have the facilities available to manufacture such an item at a fair price. We are working Hard to balance this project as well as the others we are making.
Thanks,
Kyle
