Stock vs Modded

By the looks of this poll, it appears we are widely outnumbered. If I was a teen again or even in my 20's I'd be on the other side again though just like when I owned a beautiful 'stock' '71 Roadrunner back in the day and modded the heck out of it, right down to aftermarket side pipes. Talk about loud!!
Age changes things but never the love of sweet rides. My wife always understood this. I've owned some type of muscle or sports car my entire life. Never been without one for 40+ years of driving.
**Note to you young guns: If a girl ever tells you she doesn't like your car, dump her, and quick!! Your married life will be

Most people here would consider my current LS1s to be stock, as they have only minor bolt-ons. I intend to keep them that way.
I don't seen myself doing any major modifications to any modern car ever again; minor bolt-ons are about the limit for me these days. Only way I might reconsider is if one of them needed an engine rebuild or such, and then I might consider a small upgrade. My drag racing days are over, and I grew sick of the hassles of modifiding modern cars. Old cars are a bit of a different story for me though, I am/would be much more likely to do more with them in terms of modifications.

Modding is fun, but any time you start dicking with factory parts and replacing them things start going wrong/breaking. I'd much much much rather buy a car BONE stock and then mod it myself so i know exactly what's been done to the car when unforeseen problems arise.
My car is 95% stock, driving a 100% stock car would drive me nuts. Skip shift eliminator/lid/cut-out are pretty much mandatory imo.

I just have a lid and catback right now but I will have full bolt-on's/tune on the car in about 2 weeks. I plan to lower it and stall it after this and it'll stay this way until I graduate college.
Would love to do more with it but just don't have the cash! Stock sucks!

I already voted modified, but I just bought a 2002 SS and it's stock, all the way down to the paper air filter.
So put one more down for stock, because I'm keeping it that way.
